On Day 2, Academy Interactive and Lanterns Studios invite participants to engage deeply in the game development process, exploring each stage from concept to design with guidance from seasoned professionals. This is an opportunity to learn, connect, and gain perspective in both career planning and creative development.
Anoir Bennour
Anoir Bennour is the Co-Founder of Academy Interactive, Head of Business Development & Strategy at Lanterns Studios, an entrepreneur, and an active member of the Tunisian game development community, Anoir’s vision has been aiming to grow the video game industry in Tunisia, which later on led to increasing interest and involvement in entrepreneurship ecosystems in Africa and Middle East region in the creative digital industries and the gaming industry.
Mohamed Nabli
Mohamed Nabli (Spoot): Videogame enthusiast since the earliest age. Mainly a game developer. Grew up collecting video games as the passion was there since the early 90s. Had experiences in gaming journalism, amongst them a running weekly show on national radio “Gaming Story”. Healthy experience in eSports too, as a player and competition organizer/commentator as well. Technical Adviser with the Tunisian eSports Federation. Worked on multiple videogames as a developer, some of which are today on big platforms like Steam and the Nintendo Switch. Some are specific to clients and some haven’t seen a release. Taught game development to a large number of youngsters, whose ages vary from 13 to 31.
Oussama Ben Mariem
Oussama Ben Mariem is the CTO and co-founder of Lanterns, an independent video game studio focused on narrative video games, XR and Mocap services. He is also a Co-Founder of Academy Interactive, a training institute dedicated to video game tuition for both professionals and enthusiasts. During his career, Oussama explored the field of computer engineering as a VR developer before starting his own video game development company.
