Pr. Ali Arifa
Biography
Pr. Ali Arifa is currently the President of Box Hill College – Kuwait (BHCK). He graduated with a PhD. degree from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign, USA. He previously served at Kuwait University as a Faculty Member in the College of Business administration, as the Chairman of its AACSB maintenance of accreditation, and as the Director of its affiliated Business Administration Consulting Center. He also served as an Associate Professor at Lincoln University, in New Zealand. He served as a Visiting Professor in several Universities in different countries. He is a winner of several teaching awards. He has published in various Economics areas. He has an extensive consulting experience that includes performing projects for several Organizations and Ministries in the state of Kuwait, including the General Secretariat of the Supreme Council for Planning and Development, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, the Ministry of Justice, the Ministry of Commerce and Industry, the Chamber of Commerce and Industry, the Kuwait Petroleum Corporation, the Public Authority for Industry, the Union of Investment Companies, and the Foundation for the Advancement of Sciences (KFAS), He also conducted projects for many international organizations, in particular, the World Economic Forum (WEF), The Arab Planning Institute (API), the United Nations Development Program (UNDP), the World Bank (WB), the United Nations Industrial Development (UNIDO), and the United Nations Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organization (UNESCO).
