International 3+2 pathway program
⸺ Students enrolled in a Licence (Bachelor’s) program at MUST University have access to a streamlined 3+2 pathway leading to a Master’s degree at Steinbeis S-Next, a branch of Steinbeis University in Germany. After completing their three-year undergraduate studies at MUST, eligible students can transition directly into a two-year graduate program at Steinbeis, which is known for its applied, innovation-driven education. All Master’s programs at Steinbeis S-Next are taught entirely in English and focus on high-demand fields such as Data Analytics, Artificial Intelligence, Digital Transformation, and Business Innovation.
This international pathway offers students a unique blend of technical depth and real-world relevance, with options to study on campus in Germany or online. In addition to significant tuition discounts, students benefit from Steinbeis University’s strong industry connections and global faculty network. The Dual Master’s Program in Data Science and Artificial Intelligence is a two-year international track that leads to two graduate degrees:Â
- A Master of Science (MS) in Data Science from MUST University, andÂ
- A Master of Arts (MA) in Data Analytics and AI from Steinbeis S-Next, affiliated with Steinbeis University, one of Germany’s most prominent institutions for applied research and industry-linked education.Â
Designed for ambitious students seeking a global, interdisciplinary, and career-ready academic experience, the program offers a unique opportunity to gain expertise across two continents and two complementary academic cultures.Â
Students spend the first academic year (two semesters) at MUST University, where they build a solid foundation in data science, including machine learning, data engineering, statistics, and applied research methods. In the second year, students transition to Steinbeis S-Next, where they deepen their specialization in data analytics and artificial intelligence, with a strong emphasis on business applications, entrepreneurship, and innovation management.Â

The specific objectives of the master program in data science include providing our graduates with:
- A solid foundation in data science concepts, techniques, technologies, and tools.
- A solid foundation in the statistical and mathematical foundations of data science.
- An in-depth understanding of the challenges of developing and managing data analytics solutions and their risks and implications.
Graduates of the Licence in Software Engineering and Information Systems can continue their education to get a Master or Engineering degree in a related field. They can also join the industry to work on the development and maintenance of complex information systems and applications.
Specific example careers include:
- Software application developer/engineer.
- Software tester/Software quality engineer.
- Software project manager.
- Database/IT System administrator.
- Information systems analyst/Consultant.
- IT solutions integrator.
Within a few years of successfully completing the Licence program, graduates employed in the industry will demonstrate career advancement through leadership, technical responsibility, significant technical achievement, or other recognition of their effective contributions. In addition, graduates will be adequately prepared for a modern professional environment where they would be able to: apply the acquired skills in effective communication, responsible teamwork, and time management; demonstrate professional attitude and ethical decision making; and/or establish their own business.
Graduates of the Licence in Software Engineering & Information Systems can continue their education to get a Master or Engineering degree in a related field. They can also join the industry to work on the development and maintenance of advanced software and computer-based systems. The application of these technologies span industrial computing, automation, health informatics, smart agriculture, and smart cities. They can join a team to launch a startup to develop solutions relying on these technologies to serve the needs of clients in a variety of sectors.

Participants in this program benefit from a 30% reduction in tuition fees at Steinbeis S-Next, and can study either in Germany or online remotely from Tunis. Students receive academic support and career advising throughout their studies. Students who successfully complete this program earn two degrees, one from MUST University and another from Steinbies S-Next.
