Program Overview
The four-week summer school on digital technologies and sustainability offers a unique opportunity for engineering exchange students to explore the dynamic intersection of technology and environmental preservation.
Through immersive lectures, hands-on workshops, and field visits, participants will discover how cutting-edge digital technologies like IoT, AI & Data Analytics, & Blockchain are revolutionizing sustainable development efforts worldwide.
By delving into real-world case studies and engaging in collaborative projects, students will be initiated into crucial practical skills and discover how they can leverage emerging technologies to tackling pressing environmental challenges.
Additionally, cultural activities and excursions to explore the region’s rich history and natural beauty will complement the academic program, providing a well-rounded experience for program participants.
Program Objectives
Introduce engineering exchange students to the concepts of sustainability and to the exciting opportunities at the intersection of digital technologies and sustainability.
Enhance the practical skills of program participants in employing IoT, AI, or Blockchain technologies to address pressing environmental challenges through real-world case studies and immersive learning within living labs.
Introduce students through cultural activities and excursions, to Tunisia’s history, culture, and landscape.
Facilitate networking and collaboration among students, academics, and industry professionals to inspire innovation and drive positive change in the field.
