Pr. Atef JAOUANI is Full Professor of Biological Engineering at the University of Tunis El Manar, Higher Institute for Applied Biological Sciences of Tunis. He is Expert in environmental management with a particular focus on environmental biotechnologies and management of unconventional water resources. Pr.JAOUANI is very active in the field of research and innovation and has participated as PI or team leader in several projects funded by international donors. He has authored and co-authored several book chapters and scientific papers in recognized international journals and has presented conferences at international congresses. He has an extensive network of international collaborators.

Pr. JAOUANI has expertise in the exploitation of research results and has conducted several missions of expertise at the national and international level related to the environmental field.

In addition, Pr. JAOUANI is an international expert in quality management. He has carried out several audit, training and assistance missions in Tunisia and abroad in accreditation of testing and calibration laboratories according to ISO 17025.
